Our Responsibility

Safety First. A Quaker Chemical Core Value.

Quaker provides information on its products to customers for the purpose of enabling compliance with federal, state and local regulations. This information is provided by Quaker's fully staffed Safety, Health & Environmental Group (SHE). The group's main responsibility is the handling of regulatory issues with respect to Quaker's raw materials and products.

The two most common forms of regulatory communication to Quaker customers are the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and the product label found on the package. Label and SDS information pertains strictly to the neat product. This may not necessarily pertain to the product as used - some products are diluted in water, oil or solvent for use. Information on the diluted product can be obtained by sending an email to your regional contact below.

Quaker Chemical Corporation also maintains emergency phone numbers to respond to transportation, environmental and medical emergencies. Emergency numbers are also indicated on the product label and SDS. If you have any questions with regard to this information, please consult your Quaker Process Engineer or call the Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) department in your region.
